day 14 – Photo Sunday
November 14, 2010Today was a pretty awesome day because I got a very impromptu visit from my parents, which was the perfect excuse to skip church and go to Lucky Platter for some of their super yummy brunch. Afterwards we played some Rummikub as a family and then the parents and I tried to go so a local production of Oliver, however we missed out due to sold out tickets. So I came home and took this picture.

Remember how you said you love pumpkin flavored treats? I happen to have an overabundance of pumpkins from my garden and I thought it could be fun to make something pumpkin flavored next wednesday when you get into town.

I know you posted on my Friend Friday blog question a while back about shampoo/hair care. So, I thought I’d answer it on your site. (Seemed easiest). My hair does get pretty bad looking by day 4, that’s when I knot it’s time for a baking soda wash. After I do that, dry it out, etc. It’s fine again for another couple of days. Since everyone’s hair is different, others may reach that ‘bad’ point a day or two earlier. But whenever I just can’t stand it anymore, that’s when I pull out the baking soda.
